Why It Matters

SOFTER FUR. EASIER BRUSHING. A BETTER FINISH.

Your dog's conditioner does more than make their coat smell good. It helps hydrate the fur, loosen tangles, improve manageability, and leave the coat feeling softer after bath time.

Conditions

Helps replenish moisture and soften the coat after shampooing.

Detangles

Helps loosen knots and reduce resistance during brushing.

Smooths

Helps the coat feel more manageable and easier to comb through.

Adds shine

Leaves the coat looking soft, healthy, and freshly groomed.

How to

Condition your dog's coat in 4 steps

Adding a conditioner to their bath time routine can replenish moisture, and leave your dog's coat softer and easier to brush.

Rinse

After shampooing, rinse the coat thoroughly until all shampoo has been removed. Leftover shampoo can prevent the conditioner from coating the fur evenly.

Gently squeeze out excess water before conditioning. The coat should be wet, but not dripping heavily.

Rinse

Condition

Apply conditioner in sections and work it evenly through the coat.

Begin with a small amount and add more as needed. Leave on for 2–3 minutes, and use this time to gently massage the coat or carefully work your fingers through lightly tangled areas.

Rinse thoroughly

Rinse with lukewarm water until the water runs clear and the coat no longer feels coated or slippery.

Work your hands through dense, curly, or double-coated areas to make sure the water reaches beneath the surface.

The coat should feel soft and conditioned without feeling greasy or weighed down.

Rinse thoroughly

Dry

Gently towel-dry the coat, then brush and dry it in manageable sections to help prevent tangles and mats from forming.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Should I use conditioner after every bath?

Conditioner can be used after each shampoo to help restore moisture, soften the coat, and make brushing easier. Dogs with long, curly, or dry coats often benefit most.

Can I use the conditioner without shampooing first?

For the best results, use it after shampooing. Shampoo removes dirt and buildup so the conditioner can be distributed more evenly through the coat.

How much conditioner should I use?

The right amount depends more on your dog's coat than their body size. Long, curly, dense, or dry coats typically require more product. Use the calculator above for a starting amount.

How long should I leave it on?

Allow the conditioner to sit on the coat for approximately 2–3 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Can I brush my dog while the conditioner is in the coat?

You can gently work your fingers through lightly tangled areas while the conditioner is applied. Avoid pulling through tight knots — save those for after the coat is dry.

Will it leave my dog's coat greasy?

The conditioner is designed to rinse clean and leave the coat soft and manageable. Using too much product or not rinsing thoroughly can leave a coated feeling.

Can it be used on puppies and all breeds?

Yes. The conditioner is gentle enough for dogs of all ages and breeds. Take additional care around the eyes, nose, ears, and mouth.

Is it suitable for curly or doodle coats?

Yes. Conditioner can be particularly helpful for long, curly, and tangle-prone coats because it improves softness and manageability.

Does it help with tangles and mats?

The conditioner helps soften and detangle the fur, making routine brushing easier. It is not intended to remove severe or tightly formed mats.

Can it help with dry or itchy skin?

The conditioner contains moisturising ingredients and may help with dryness or mild irritation. Persistent itching, redness, or soreness should be checked by a vet.
