Wow, what a beautiful brush! I first used it on my own hair because I have fine hair that tangles and mats easily similar to a doodle. It was great for removing tangles. The pins are very long and flexible and gentle and don’t cause any discomfort. When I used it on my goldendoodle it went easily through his thick coat and removes tangles and dead hair very well. The brush looks beautiful and is well made with a wooden handle. It works great but I may not give it to the dog, I like it too much. Definitely recommend for both human and dog.
