How to Use
Slicker Brush
Starting at your dog’s head, brush using gentle strokes towards their tail.
Brush in the same direction as your dog’s fur, using short strokes.
Do not tug hard on knots or mats, work at them slowly and gently using repeated strokes.
Avoid brushing directly on your dog’s skin, and be extra careful when brushing their face.
Remove hair from the brush as needed.
Grooming Combs
First, brush your puppy’s coat thoroughly with a slicker brush to detangle mats and remove loose fur.
Starting at your dog’s head, gently run the comb through your dog’s fur working in small sections.
If you find any knots, use the metal comb to gently detangle them.
Pay close attention to the face, belly, legs, tail, and paws where larger slicker brushes have trouble racing.
Detangler Spray
Shake well and spray liberally on your dog’s coat — works on wet or dry fur!
Massage the detangler into your dog’s coat to loosen up knots and mats.
Brush through using the We Love Doodles Slicker Brush or metal comb to easily remove knots, mats, and tangles.
Puppy Shampoo
Wet your dog’s coat thoroughly with warm water.
Apply shampoo generously and work into a thick lather.*
Let shampoo stand for 5 to 10 minutes (or as long as your puppy can hold still!).
Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
*Note that because our shampoo is made with organic and non-toxic ingredients, it may lather less than the traditional dog shampoos you’re used to. This is OK! It's still getting the job done, just gently and safely.
